Arts Market setup details:
Please find below further details regarding the setting up and operation of the forthcoming Arts Market in Hereford’s High Town.
Hours - the market will operate between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Please be set up and ready for trading from 9am onwards. It won't be possible to pack up early - even if you've sold everything (!) as other stall holders are still trading and the market needs to remain open till the end.
Sunday 9th Dec - this market has different hours - 10am to 4pm
Market stalls will be erected on the morning of the event and be ready for exhibitors use from 8am onwards.
Finding your allocated stall on the day - look out for your name label (usually a yellow post it note) on the stall table top.

Stalls - market stalls are approximately 10’ wide by 7’deep with a 10’ x 4’ tabletop (unless otherwise requested), a canopy, and backcloth to keep you dry. All tabletops must be covered. Table-coverings, signage, and chairs are not provided.
Electricity - winter markets have electricity as standard and lights are provided for all stalls. If you have particular lighting/electrical needs please contact the market manager Steve Boffy to discuss - before turning up with something expecting to plug in.
Spring and Summer markets don't have electricity supplied as standard.
Unloading/Loading - as the market is due to take place in a pedestrian area, it will not be possible to pull up immediately next to the stalls therefore unloading will be done from the closest possible position. Enter the pedestrianised area of High Town from the Union St / St Owens St direction. Please park up safely at this point in the general vicinity of the market and I will be on hand to give you further instructions.
Car Parks - once unloaded, you will be asked to park your car in one of the nearby public car parks. The nearest long stay car parks are: the multi storey in Widemarsh St (£3 for the day) or Shire Hall which you enter through Gaol St opposite old Jail (£4 per day). Both car parks are only a short walk from High Town but because of the City’s one way system you may have to take a scenic route. Please remember that as traders, we are not exempt from normal parking byelaws. Cars left in no park zones, double yellow lines, blocking access etc may be ticketed so please be careful where you park. Anyone having difficulties on the morning may feel free to call me on my mobile for help.
