The Archie Miles tree collection is probably one of the most extensive of its type in Britain, with more than 100,000 transparencies to choose from. There is coverage of all the native and many of the introduced species; a superb selection of heritage and veteran trees of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; a rich and varied collection of British woodland types; some stupendous detail and 'art' pictures of trees as well as tree related subjects, such as charcoal making or willow baskets.
